M.I.A's new video - Born Free was directed by Romain Gavras who is not scared of standing out and making a point. This video is no exception and was pulled from YouTube soon after it was posted by MIA herself.
It is pretty powerful and it's interesting to see how a lot of narrow minded people genuinely thought this was calling for genocide of Fanta Pants when the truth is the more orange in hair colour people are a stand in for any race and / or minority. Aside from the controversy this video has kicked up it has amazing creative direction!
